E-Salvage, CRT and Fluorescent Lamp Disposal

This page is updated weekly, keep checking back for the latest information.

After an accidental introduction into electronic salvage, we have become one of the largest disabled veteran, electronic component recyclers in California. Every year companies dispose of millions of desktop computers and other related equipment in a number of different ways. The worst being, disposal in the local landfill.

Rather than just recycling, we are highly committed to the concept of REUSE, REPAIR, and as a last resort, RECYCLING. What's the diference? Reuse is the taking of salvage and making it usable again, providing trining, jobs, and low cost computer systems to the disadvantaged. When all else fails, and we cannot repair the salvage, then, we break it down for the component parts and sell them to dealers for their aluminum, brass, copper and gold content.

Even the glass of CRT tubes has a home at a glass-to-glass processor than creates ingots of lead glass for household articles and manufacturing more CR Tubes.

Last month, a new avenue opened up to us, we now are authorized to handle and dispose of used fluorescent tubes, lamps and their ballasts.

All those years of collecting licenses (which nobody seemed to be interested in at the time) has now paid off. We now have more legal authority to safely handle E-waste than any one else in Southern California.

Corporations and various institutions, as well as individuals, approach us with a variety of electronic equipment including desktop and notebook computers for salvage or recycling.

Lately, we have been getting more and more requests for, "Who disposes of fluorescent lamps and tubes in my area?" After researching this for our clients, we found that we have all the permits and licenses necessary for the handling and safe disposal of fluorescent lights, lamps, tubes and fixtures.

The recycling of computers fluorescent tubes, lamps and their ballasts, and all other electronic salvage, should also be a concern of everyone who needs to safely dispose of computers or any other electronic products.

Our program is a "win-win" situation. Everyone benefits from giving their e-salvage for safe disposal. First, it doesn't go into the landfills. Second, it provides jobs for our disabled veterans, handicapped and older workers. Third, it provides low cost computers to local agencies for their youth outreach programs.

As of September, we will opening an intern training program for students at the Verdugo Hills High School. Your salvage pays for these programs.
